2- Cage match for vacant title. Flair stripped when he left WCW on 7-1-91
3- Savage eliminated One Man Gang to win the World War III battle royal and the vacant title. The title was declared- vacant after The Giant defeated Hulk Hogan by DQ on 10-29-95 due to Jimmy Hart's interference. Hart had put
- a clause in the contract that said Hogan would lose the title if he was DQ'ed. It was later revealed that Hart
- intentionally caused Hogan to lose and had secretly become Giant's manager before the match, so the title was
- declared vacant
4- Match for vacant title. Sting forced to vacate the title due to the controversial endings of the matches on 12-28 and- 12-29-97

7- Four corner match included Hulk Hogan & Sting. Randy Savage was special referee

9- Savage pinned Nash in a tag match pitting Savage & Sid Vicious vs. Nash & Sting
10- Tournament final. The title was declared vacant on 10-25-99. Goldberg defeated Sting on 10-24-99 to- apparently win the title. However, since the match was not sanctioned by WCW, the win was nullified.
- The title was not returned to Sting due to the fact he attacked referee Charles Robinson after the match
11- Match for vacant title. Bret vacated title after controversial ending of his match vs. Goldberg on 12-19-99
12- Match for vacant title. Arn Anderson was the special referee. Bret stripped of title due to injury
13- Match for vacant title. Benoit stripped on 1-17-00 due to controversial ending of match vs. Sid
14- Three way dance Cage match included Ron Harris. Vicious was stripped of title by Commissioner Nash since Sid- did not win his match in order to wrestle Nash for the vacant title on 1-24-00
15- Tournament final. All WCW titles were stripped by Vince Russo on 4-10-00

17- Arquette pinned Bischoff in a tag match pitting Arquette & Diamond Dallas Page vs. Bischoff & Jeff Jarrett.- Due to a pre-match stipulation, Arquette won the title
18- Three-Tiered Steel Cage match included Diamond Dallas Page
19- Jarrett was awarded the title after Flair became ill
20- Three way Dance included Scott Steiner
21- Nash gave Flair the belt
